About Cavalier Rescue Coalition

The Cavalier Rescue Coalition, Inc. is a non-profit organization.  With more than 40 years of combined Cavalier rescue work, the Cavalier Rescue Coalition seeks to help Cavaliers in need find loving and caring forever homes.   The CRC team and network of foster parents have first-hand experience working with older dogs and those with health conditions.  We believe every dog deserves a chance to be the best they can be!

Mission

Cavalier Rescue Coalition’s mission is focused on Cavalier King Charles Spaniels of all ages, including those that are seniors and/or with special medical needs.

Our primary goals include:

  • Provide fostering, veterinary care, and adoption placement for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels entrusted to our program.

  • Provide matching funds and grants to cover the cost of long-term medical care incurred by individuals who adopt senior and special-needs Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

  • Obtain matching funds and provide research grants to further explore the increasing health concerns of the breed, including cardiac (MVD) and neurologic disorders (Chiari-like malformation/syringomyelia).

  • Work to raise the awareness and understanding of the health concerns seen in the breed through educational videos and other resources.

Meet my dogs who inspired this rescue: Cooper, Zelda, Piper and Parker.

We have been doing rescue for about 20 years and all of our pups are rescues with different needs.
